Sāman (सामन्) – Hymn, Sacred Chant
Long before language found form, there was sound—pure, vibrating, alive.
Sāman (सामन्), drawn from the Sāma Veda, is not just a hymn. It is the breath of the cosmos sung into being, the melodic bridge between the human heart and the divine.
These ancient chants were not merely recited—they were offered, intoned in rhythm with the Moon’s cycles, flowing with the tides of devotion, calling down order from the stars.
To invoke Sāman is to enter a sacred current of sound and silence, of ritual and remembrance. It is where spirit meets melody, where the Goddess sings through your breath, and where each note is a luminous thread in the tapestry of the universe.
In the name Saman, we carry this essence:
Balance, beauty, and the echo of the eternal feminine.
Who we are
We are 3 friends, who realized the gift of sisterhood after finding each other gravitating around our teachers: John and Julia Scott.
Honoring each other we have created this space with the main purpose of encouraging each other to create and bring out, with the guidance of the Moon, anything and everything we have to give.
Because it often takes the generous eye of somebody who loves us, to see the beauty we hold within.
In that same spirit, we welcome you, to play, learn and create with us.
